Ivo Schmetz is co-founder, coordinator, designer of the Amsterdam Alternative collective. AA publishes a bi-monthly free newspaper and organizes public discussions, Vrij Beton and other events. He is also involved in the OT301 as board member, designer and music programmer. The OT301 has been squatted in 1999 and bought in 2006. We run this alternative, not-for-profit platform as a collective, in which housing, workspaces and public functions are combined to contribute to the arts, politics and subculture.
