The Fik is a non-profit organisation that facilitates parties, events and community building. They believe in the value of free experimental space for creative talent to flourish. With a close-knit group of friends at the helm and many enthusiastic volunteers, De Fik makes all kinds of things possible.

It is now time for the next step: the foundation is in the process of realising a sanctuary on the Riekerhaven site in Amsterdam. This new space is called Vrijplaats FIK: a non-commercial and cultural meeting place, accessible to people in the neighbourhood and Amsterdam's creative community.
